Victorian Plumbing COVID-19 Update

During these difficult and unprecedented times, we feel it is important to be transparent not only with our team internally but also with our customers. Below we have outlined the steps we have put in place to ensure our staff and customers are safe whilst we continue to supply the UK with essential sanitaryware.

As a company we will endeavour to ensure we are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of the virus. Having strictly followed the Government’s guidelines, we’re in a safe position to continue to supply bathroom products to those who need them most. We will, of course, continue to update our processes in line with the Government’s guidelines.

You can continue to place orders with us and we'll dispatch these as usual.

Information for Customers

As a supplier of sanitaryware and plumbing products, we have a duty to continue to supply essential items to ensure a decent level of hygiene is maintained in homes across the UK. These essential items include taps, showers, and toilets. Additionally to this, we also need to ensure that those who are mid-renovation continue to receive the items they require to complete the work.

Our showroom has now reopened to customers. However, we have introduced strict social distancing policies, along with a new one way system.

To keep both our customers and the delivery team safe, all of our deliveries are now contactless or have reduced contract processes. For the most up to date information on this please head to our Delivery Page

Information For Staff

At Victorian Plumbing, we prioritise the well being and safety of our entire workforce. As such we have  implemented a number of new processes to ensure each and every member of our team is able to continue to work in the safest possible manner. Where possible a number of our team are now working from home and for those who are unable to do this due to the nature of their job, we have put the following safety measures in place;
  • Hand cleaning and sanitation facilities have been upgraded and are regularly monitored.
  • All employees who travel to work via public transport are now able to discuss and alter their start/finish times to ensure they’re not travelling during rush hour.
  • We have rearranged the office layout, in addition to acquiring more space to ensure each member of the team is working at a minimum of 2 metres apart. This includes closing our showroom to ensure social distancing.
  • All public access to the showroom and office has been suspended.
  • Cleaning and sanitation of all facilities have been significantly increased.
  • Employees' shifts working times have been altered to ensure there is no crossover.
  • Our warehouse has implemented distancing chevrons to ensure all team members are working a minimum of 2 metres apart, with nominated members of the team ensuring this is adhered to.

Q: Can I still order online?

A: Yes, you can still place an order with us and we'll dispatch this as usual.

Q: I'm expecting A delivery, will this still go ahead?

A: Yes, our delivery process is still going ahead as normal. Please continue to use 'Track my Order' regarding delivery dates.

Q: When will my order be delivered?

A: Please use the Track My order page to find the latest update for your order. As soon as it's dispatched, we'll email you with tracking information where relevant.

Q: Are you prioritising essentials?

A: Yes, during this time we will be prioritising the delivery of essential products over luxury and non-essential bathroom accessories, to ensure those who urgently need our products get them as swiftly as possible. If this affects your order, we'll let you know.

Q: Can I still return items?

A: Yes, our warehouse is still operating and we're still processing returns.

Q: Is your showroom still open?

A: Our showroom has now reopened. Please be aware we are continuing to follow government guidelines and as such a number of social distancing policies are now in place.

Q: Have your delivery methods changed?

A: Our third party couriers are already operating under contactless delivery methods, please see below for further information.

Q: Can I still get Diamond Delivery?

A: Yes, we are still offering our premium two-person delivery. Contactless delivery will be in place to keep unnecessary contact to a minimum. This service will now be offering an over the threshold delivery which includes delivering to garages, outbuildings or to your doorstep.

Q: Can I still pay using finance?

A: To help get your finance processed and products sent out to you as quickly as possible, we're currently only accepting applications up to £5000.

Q: Can I collect my order?

A: Yes, you can collect your orders from our Formby showroom. However, please be aware we have introduced strict social distancing rules in order to keep both staff and customers safe;
  • Please ensure you have proof of purchase ready to show the team.
  • A member of the team will call you to arrange a pick up timeslot. Please do not arrive until you have had your timeslot confirmed.

Please be aware all products are housed in a separate off-site warehouse and as such we will contact you when your items are ready for collection.

For those living near to our showroom, we are also offering a local one-person delivery service.
