Villeroy & Boch Toilets

The toilet looks great; the color is unnaturally white thanks to the CeramicPlus coating. Unfortunately, it had a defect, and a week after installation, a leak was discovered from a hole in the side at the bottom. The toilet pan was replaced without any problems, but with a simpler model without CeramicPlus. Despite numerous emails and photos detailing the differences and a box stating CeramicPlus, the warranty center never sent the correct model, only 5814R001. A couple of weeks later, the super-durable Duroplast lid cracked and was also replaced under warranty. In the future, I would avoid this brand, as the replacement is for a cheaper option, and the quality leaves much to be desired. The delivery and VictorianPlumbing team were excellent, always willing to help and resolve the issue without delay. I recommend buying from them; it may be a little more expensive, but their service is excellent.

This WC is as decribed and replaced a 20+ year old unit. The good thing with V&B is that the white color matches their other products. My only comment would be is that the rear of the cistern does is not flat so not completely flush with the wall. Not a problem for me - and is some ways may aide cleaning.
