Great tap but not suitable for gravity system

This is a lovely tap and suited our new kitchen perfectly, but we ended up with only a trickle of hot water on our gravity-fed system, even with several metres of water pressure from the header tank in the loft. So, contrary to the information on the website, our experience would suggest this tap is not suitable for gravity-fed hot water systems. The numbers for the HW flow speak for themselves: - from the HW feed pipe under the sink with no tap = 12 litres/min; - from the tap when installed = 2 litres/min. Our utility room is next to the kitchen, is fed off the same HW feed but has individual CW & HW taps. The HW flow there is also around 12l/min, so it's not the pipework that's the issue.
