Bower Designer 860 x 520mm Stainless Steel 1.0 Bowl Kitchen Sink

1 The fitting instructions stated that I did not need a sealing strip as the sink is a flat flush mount, but a roll of sealing strip was included in the delivery so I left a message online. The reply confirmed that no strip was needed. This should have been fine but when the sink was placed in the worktop the narrow edge by the bowl was bowed along it's centre, giving around 2mm clearance underneath. I have a photo to illustrate this. It now has sealant under it. 2 The worktop is completely level but the drainer does not drain (I have a photo of my spirit level with the flooded drainer behind it). There is a constant puddle in the lower part of it which ought to be guiding the water into the bowl. We have resorted to a wire drainer otherwise everything stayed wet. 3 The overflow tube is far longer than it needs to be, so it bows out taking up space for no good reason. The lower end is so soft that it was unable to be gripped properly by the fitting and I have had to use waterproof jointing compound to stop it from dripping. 4 The inlet for the dishwasher waste also leaked slightly even when tightened fully so I had to use more jointing compound to seal it. As you can imagine, I am not impressed...

A great sink. Not too big. Simple design lines means it blends seamlessly into the kitchen.

Really lovely sink, makes the kitchen look really modern! And great value for money.

Wanted something more modern looking in our kitchen. Not too big, nice deep bowl and looks good. It does mark easy but it cleans well. Very happy with it.
