Crosswater - Slotted Flip Top Basin Waste

The plug itself arrived stuck and immovable and would not swivel

I chose this waste because I was concerned about having a click-clack waste stopping working (which appears to happen a great deal over time), and in addition I wanted to avoid a really "cheap" product that might cause me leak-problems in the future. I'm delighted with this waste - my plumber just had to add some plumber's mait to stop drips from it when he installed it and said he thought it looked like a good quality waste. It also works perfectly (initially it was quite stiff to flip it open and shut but very quickly it settled into a smooth action). I would definitely recommend paying a little more for this waste.

I've fitted these for years. With ground surfaces they are the best option for a trouble free life.

Product is of very good quality. However, when fitting to a basin you will have to either use something like silicone sealant or Plumbers Mait (or any jointing compound) or better still, use a 'Basin Mate 1¼' to fit it with otherwise it will leak.

Haven't fitted it yet but looks fine and as shown in the online info.
