As company announcements go we’ve got a pretty big one to make-we’re officially going to be the headline sponsor at this year’s Southport Flower Show!

This is a fantastic honour for Victorian Plumbing, and something we’re really looking forward to getting involved with.

The Southport Flower Show 2016

The Southport Flower Show is a huge, nationwide fundraising event that takes place each year. More than 50,000 people attend annually and the event features a variety of activities to keep you entertained including the famous show gardens, displays from amateur growers, a food festival, chef demonstrations and numerous celebrity guest appearances. There’s pretty much something for everyone so it’s well worth making the trip!

What we’ll be getting up to at the event

As you can imagine, we’re pretty excited to be such a big part of this event, as being a local company we know how popular it is each year and what it means to the surrounding community. We’ll have a large presence at the show, getting into the spirit of things with some creative displays of our own which you’ll be able to see at our trade stand and exhibition space. We won’t share exactly what we’re working on yet as we don’t want to spoil the surprise but it’ll be worth the wait!

We’ll let you in on one thing for now though; all visitors to the event will be able to take part in our #SpotTheGnomes twitter competition, where you can discover the gnomes hidden around the grounds. Finally, a proper use for everyone’s favourite cheeky garden ornaments!

“Being from Southport myself I have always been aware of the Southport Flower Show, and I was really happy for my company to become the headline sponsor for such a popular event.

“Victorian Plumbing traditionally only gets involved with national advertising however, with the head office being located in Formby and the company roots based in Southport, it felt like a nice fit. We have a lot of very close links with the surrounding area so this is yet another fantastic opportunity for us to support and contribute to the local community.

“It is the first time we have sponsored an event of this kind and we are very pleased to be working with the Southport Flower Show; everyone at Victorian Plumbing is looking forward to this fantastic occasion.”
