That’s right - more Brits than ever are eating in the bath. New research, in collaboration with Slim Chickens, found that a fifth of Brits dine in the bath, with 1 in 10 saying it’s their favourite place to eat a takeaway.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Slim Chickens to bring Brits the world-first dip tap. Together, we’re embracing bathroom dining to create a tub with a third tap exclusively to dispense sauce.

Our latest innovation represents the future of bathrooms: where you can dunk yourself beneath the bubbles, then dunk your chicken into some fresh sauce. We’ve even asked the audience, and found that a third (33%) of Brits would love a tap that dispenses sauce, so we answered the nation’s call. 

Why do Brits love bathroom dining?

Bath time is getting a saucy new upgrade. What may seem like an unusual habit is quickly becoming Britain's favourite pastime, as more Brits than ever are taking a dip (quite literally) with their favourite takeaways.

The data revealed that over a third (36%) of Brits say tucking into their favourite takeaway in the tub actually saves them time. But convenience isn’t the only reason people are bringing their dinner into the bathroom. 4 in 10 say eating in the bath actually makes food taste better, and 41% say bathroom dining is simply more fun than at the dinner table - and we agree.

So, it seems that the bath isn’t just for bubbles anymore: it's the perfect place for a saucy soak and a cheeky bite.
