But how is this achieved?

Unlike standard mixers and mixer showers that simply allow hot water to flow through them and heat the casing, mixers with CoolContact technology reroute the inflowing cold water.

This cold water is directed around the entire front and top of the mixer to the surface of the mixer to keep it constantly cool.
