Comedian Takes Over Our TV Ad
A comedian is set to take over the Victorian Plumbing 'flying van' TV advert during the break in this year's Channel 4 Comedy Gala. The same comedian will also be taking over the TV adverts of Domino's, LateRooms.com, MoneySuperMarket, Plenty and Premier Inn, viewers will be asked to vote for their favourite in a Live Twitter Competition. Channel 4 Comedy Gala 2016
The 2016 Channel 4 Comedy Gala returns to our screens for a 7th year to help raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity. The show will be broadcast over the Bank Holiday weekend at 9pm on Sunday 29th May 2016.
The amazing all-star line-up for this year’s annual comedy spectacular includes: Adam Hills, Aisling Bea, Alan Carr, Charlie Baker, Josh Widdicombe, Kerry Godliman, Kevin Bridges, Lee Nelson, Rob Beckett, Russell Kane, Sean Lock, Shappi Khorsandi, Zoe Lyons and Warwick Davis. Also performing at The O2 Arena this year is musician Jake Bugg.
During the first ad break, scheduled for approximately 9.15pm, a comedian will be taking over our 'flying van' TV advert and applying their unique comedy spin. Who will the comedian be and what will they get up to now they have got the keys to a Victorian Plumbing van? Make sure you tune in to find out how they interprets our popular ad.

Donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital charity
As in previous years the Channel 4 Comedy Gala is a celebration of comedy to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital charity. The Comedy Gala has now raised over £4 million since the first Gala in 2010.
This year’s Channel 4 Comedy Gala is dedicated to the memory of Addison Cresswell who died in 2013.
