BAL XL Floor One is a high-performance, flexible, semi-rapid setting, thick-bed adhesive specifically designed for fixing large format tiles and slabs on floors in various environments.

• Large format tiling: Ideal for installing oversized or large-format tiles and panels, including 20mm porcelain pavers, where a solid bed is crucial.
• Versatile applications: Suitable for fixing ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, vitrified, and terrazzo tiles, both indoors and outdoors, in wet or dry conditions, including swimming pool bases and wet room floors.
• Thick bed capabilities: Can be applied in a single application up to 25mm thickness, making it ideal for levelling uneven surfaces or patching repairs, eliminating the need for a separate leveller in certain situations.
• Extended workability: Offers an extended open time of up to 1 hour and a working time of up to 1.5 hours, allowing for larger mixes and longer runs without premature setting.
• Semi-rapid setting: Sets in approximately 6 hours, allowing for fast-track project completion and grouting the following morning.
• Enhanced flexibility and strength: Formulated with high strength and flexibility to accommodate some substrate movement and vibration, and is especially recommended for tiles of uneven thickness like slate, or challenging backgrounds that could cause cracking or de-bonding with traditional adhesives.
• Reduced back-buttering: With a new and improved formulation and fluid rheology, back-buttering may not always be needed on flat and level surfaces, potentially saving time and cost.
• Compatible with heating systems: Can be used directly over underfloor heating cables and on heated screeds.
