BAL Bedding Mortar is a high-performance cement designed for creating a solid mortar bed for exterior pavers and tiles. This specialised mortar is perfect for outdoor installations, including 20mm porcelain, natural stone, and other pavers.

This pre-blended product is easy to use—just add water. It can be mixed and applied in a single application, allowing for bed depths from 10mm to 100mm. For a robust foundation, a minimum depth of 25mm is recommended when used on an MOT Type 1 substrate.

With a working time of over an hour, you have plenty of time to get the job done right. The surface is also walkable in just 12 hours, and its freeze-thaw resistance protects your outdoor installations from damage in all weather conditions. It's suitable for use on both bonded and unbonded surfaces, including concrete and Type 1 MOT.
