Alaska 1050mm Vanity Unit Cloakroom Suite (Gloss White - Depth 300mm)

The whole unit looks really nice in my bathroom, good compact shape and nice quality material. My only disappointment is the cistern and flush system is quite poor, the cistern is much smaller, for economy use I guess, but the pipe is L shaped, which means the water does not get enough power to flush and make a swirl, so it takes 2 flushes...not so eco after all... the D-shaped seat also is of a strange design as the seat itself does not fully cover the pan, and looks smaller. When the lid is down it looks ok, but siting on the seat means that the porcelain touches the back of your thighs...

This unit has a very nice look and shape, compact and good external quality, however, there are few flows with the toilet only: 1. The flushing system is the worst that someone can design. The cistern is half the size of a normal one, for economical purpose maybe it was designed with good intentions, but, as the cistern is really low, the pipe that flushes the water into the toilet pan, is so low and horizontal, so there is no water pressure to make a good flush, and you need at least 2-3 flushes to get a small amount of toilet paper down. Not so economical after all... 2. the provided toilet seat is does not cover entirely the toilet pan, there is about 1 cm of the ceramic pan that when you sit it touches your skin, only the lid covers it all the pan. Poor design again.

I bought a variety of Alska products to fit out our bathroom. They look excellent and the quality if good. My only criticism is that the back to wall toilet panel requires fitting and the instructions could do with a template to make the job easier. The toilet and cistern seem to use a non-UK spec pipe, which is fine, except the seal on mine was very poor and so took a while to get a fit that didn't leak. My local DIY merchant did not have anything remotely the same size as the one supplied.However, on the whole, this didn't cause me any major problems and I still think the service and quality of the units is very good.

We have had this installed in our bathroom this week. It looks fabulous! I'm impressed with the quality. Our plumber was also impressed, nothing missing, easy to install. Delivery was excellent. They rang to confirm date and then rang to confirm time, they were bang on time. Will use again and be recommending!

I'd looked at a number of Bathroom websites in my efforts to find a replacement combination cloakroom suite for my 84 year old Mum, but failed miserably. Either the goods were unavailable, too expensive, wrong combination or the delivery charges were almost as expensive as the goods. What a waste of time!!!! I wish I'd gone straight to Victorian Plumbing in the first place. In fairness I'd deliberately passed their website by initially, having wrongly assumed it was part of the same company with a VERY VERY similar name. Within 10 minutes (and a quick call to their help desk to check a couple of specification details) I'd placed my order. The suite arrived three days later, well packaged with all the component parts included and the delivery guy was more than happy to wait while I opened each of the boxes and check the contents for any transit or other damage before signing his delivery note. Great all round service with super quality products at prices which make luxury affordable to us all. On completion of the cloakroom, I'll be revamping the existing bathroom and installing a 4 piece suite. Rest assured Victorian Plumbing will be getting my business.Thanks Guys

Really good quality at a great price

Item as described and all parts delivered and well packed Good quality basin and Toilet Only disappointment is the systern. thin flimsy plastic lid does not fit and when filling after flush vibrates and bangs which is loud and annoying

Excellent quality for the price, though the cistern has a flushing problem that I need to sort out with Victorian plumbingdelivery was as quick as expected but not very good communication,was not contacted re the delivery, it was a pallet delivery and turned up without notice
