Product Information
Milton 15mm Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV2+3 Approved)
The Milton 15mm quality chrome plated thermostatic mixing valve blends hot water (stored at temperatures high enough to kill bacteria) with cold-water to ensure constant, safe outlet temperatures preventing scalding. They shut-off rapidly in the event of a hot or cold supply failure to prevent scalding or thermal shock. TMVs accurately control water temperatures for bathing, showering and handwashing. They maintain pre-set temperatures - even if water pressure varies when other appliances are used. TMVs can be fitted under baths and basins, be part of shower fittings, or as a feature of exposed hot and cold-water mixers.

Installation:
The thermostatic mixing valve is installed on domestic sanitary installations. It can be mounted on the pipes attached to the boiler or hot water storage device or, alternatively, it may be positioned in the manifold cabinet for sanitary installations using flexible pipes in ducting. For correct functioning of the mixing valve, it is important to make the connections correctly, as indicated by the markings on the valve body. The connection with H must be connected to the hot water supply, the connection with C must be connected to the cold-water supply. The third connection is the outlet of the thermostatically controlled water. This should be connected to the sanitary outlets. Correct functioning of the mixing valve is only possible if the required outlet temperature is between the temperatures of the hot and cold supplies.
Adjustment:
The thermostatic mixing valve can be adjusted to provide mixing temperatures in the range from38℃ to 46℃, as directed on the top, for adjacent valve adjustment positions (between the numerical values on the handle wheel), we have mixing temperatures increments of about ±2℃.The adjustment of the mixer is effected by lifting the hand wheel against the return spring followed by rotation until the desired position is reached. When the hand wheel is released, the spring returns it into contact with the valve body. The hand wheel engages in the splines provided on the valve body, which prevent accidental movement
