The Tonique is a short projection close coupled toilet, ideal for use in cloakrooms, En-Suites, smaller bathrooms or even if just trying to create a little extra space in a standard bathroom. Is there enough room to have the soil pipe angled to come out of the left hand side?

Hi, there is a gap of 140mm, if you could fit your soil pipe in this gap then it could come out either side. Hope this helps!

Does this have top fix hinges made of metal rather than plastic?

Good quality product

Impressed with RAK as first one I've installed. Nice touch that the cistern comes pre-installed with everything setup so it took just 15mins to fit. Good flush and refill valve is nice and quiet. Suggest you get a flexi connector for the water inlet else it could be a bit fiddly connecting this from below.

Fitted so many of these they just work...

Good quality from RAK at sensible prices, buy the suite though if you can sometimes get a better deal!As the title says they just work as a pro bathroom fitter I will always supply and fit these all day longand I never had one single call back so they must stand the test of time!Good quality ceramic not distorted or out of shape like some I have seen and the colour is a nice White not Grey/White!Looks more impressive in real life than in the picture and the seat is nice quality soft close quick release via a button and this is neat for easy cleaning take the whole seat of in 2 seconds, just leaves the mounts attached to the pan and guess what? The fixings work and they stay tightened up... yey!!

Very good value

Very good value comfort height toilet which is neat and was ideal for my new cloakroom. There was an issue with the seal from the mechanism and at first the water would not stop running into the pan. My plumber sorted this out very quickly and it was probably just one of those things.Very good service from the company and a neat and nice looking product. Best of all was the price!

Excellent purchase

Our plumber thought this was an excellent buy although not quite so easy to work on with regard to the waste pipe because of the enclosed sides. We like the extra height as our existing one was quite low to the ground. We are pleased with the overall quality.

Good and tall

Chose this as it's 425mm tall (most toilets are 400mm), makes a difference. Only downside is that the water hole is smaller than usual, but it doesn't seem to create any problems.
