what connector is used for the cold water supply, it is not a standard 1/2" style tap connector.

Hi, the cold water supply is 3/8. You should be able to get a push fit connector from any plumbing centre. Thanks!

Can You supply a new closure ring for fitting the outlet pipe to the base of the cistern?

It is a Chrome Flush Plate, and we do not sell the Tavistock vortex so i am unsure of the difference

Is the flushpipe a moulding or can the drop be cut to suit a specific height?

3/8 coupling - difficult to connect

Cistern has a 3/8 BSP inlet.In the VP Chatsworth toilet unit, it is near impossible to get a fitting on the connector due to limited space inside unit. You need a 3/8 elbow hose - which seems very difficult to find. Toilet spares.co.uk has one. TS497 at £15.https://www.toiletspares.co.uk/universal-38-hose-300mm.htmlOtherwise, this seems to be a great cistern, unit etc. we fitted it to a RAK rimless pan all from VP. Good quality - just needs that hose.Without this it is really difficult to hook up. Hope this helps someone.

For the price you expect more

This item is average for the price. The connector cord for push button is a bit short. Water splashes through top hole of cistern every time you flush.

neat but expensive

Purchased to go with a RAK Tonique BTW pan.Somewhat expensive compared to alternatives.The insulation is a very disappointing 5mm and will be surprised if it does prevent condensation.On reflection could have paid considerably less and bought a can of expander foam and simply sprayed it on.The instructions were very poor and possibly designed to avoid any language like Ikea instructions.
