can the cistern be concealed behind a wall? Do I need to purchase anything additional for this? i.e wall mounted frame?

Hi there Kelly, This Back To Wall Toilet comes with everything required to connect to the pan and the wall. It is also supplied with a half inch inlet valve to connect it to the water supply. We recommend that the thickness of the wall between the cistern and toilet pan be no thicker than 200mm. All the best, Shaun

Great Value

The actual toilet bowl is very good quality, well made and nicely finished. Looks as good as branded products costing far more. The concealed cistern is relatively small and made of fairly flimsy materials. The flush mechanism looks ok though, and it all fits together very well. The remote push button mechanism looks ok too, and works well. The push button itself is chromed plastic so may not bee the longest-lasting thing in the world but it certainly looks as smart as many more costly, branded versions. Fitting is simplicity itself, with clear instructions and dimensions for cut-outs provided. All in all, great value.

Back to wall toilet and cistern

I needed a toilet and cistern with specific dimensions to replace an existing setup. The toilet is excellent quality and fitted the footprint of the one being removed. The connections at the back were the perfect height for what I wanted. The flush seal fitted and sealed perfectly. The soft close lid has a seal on the mounting bracket and I have not had any issues with it moving. The screws to fix the toilet to the floor are only suitable for concrete floors and it would be nice to have a shorter set to screw to a wooden floor. The cistern is a little flimsy compared to the one I had to remove (which was too big to work effectively), but installation is straight forward. You can fit the fill valve on either left or right hand side, as the inlet holes are pre drilled. The flush vale works well and there are adjustments to control the amount of water used. I have noticed a bit of condensation forming on the cistern, so it would be handy if you could purchase a jacket to insulate it (my old one had one). All in all it is a good buy and I would recommend this package.
