Are you bored of the old fashioned basin in our bathroom and thinking of changing it but are not able to find someone to fix it? Then just get ready to enjoy the new basin in your bathroom as here are the simple steps to install a new one. So no need to search any one for placing your favourite basin as now you can DO it Yourself!

Step 1: Attach Handles and Faucet

Start by applying plumber’s putty at the bottom of valve handles and faucet bead by bead. Fix the faucet and handles to the sink by tightening the nut. Don’t tight it too hard as it can crack the sink.

Step 2: Attach the Drain

Wrap Teflon Tape on Drain Pipe

Now fasten the drain throat to drain basket using a Teflon tape. Teflon tape tightens the threads and ensures a watertight connection.

Step 3: Connect the Water Lines

Connect the water supply lines to drain connection by Teflon tape. Then connect the supply lines to the mixer. This completes all water and drain connection for basin.

Step 4: Install the New Sink


Place Basin

Now gently remove the old basin. Place the new basin in proper position. Estimate by placing it where the lag screws need to be fitted. After estimation pre drill holes for the lag screws and screw them in wall by using nuts.

Trap and Water Line
 
Now slide out ht pedestal so you can work on the trap. Now connect the trap and water supply lines. Hence your your basin installation is complete!
